More details in the schedule tab – instructions on racing, who is racing (hopefully everyone) and the start lists are all listed there. Typically we start with seniors first, and move down the ages from there. We will post start lists this week though.

Another note: We will be starting races at 4:00, but we want everyone on snow as early as possible. We would love everyone skiing by 2:45 or 3:00. The races start a little later so that beginners can have a little practice time on snow before the meet starts. Coaches will be around to help and get you all situated before the meet starts. We won’t run drills or anything but we will be there to help with technique and stuff.

4:00 – Girls – you will ski 1 lap (2 kilometers) if you are a beginner and 2 laps (4k) if you are a veteran. Beginners if you feel like you want to ski two laps, talk to Gifford and he can switch that for you.
4:25 – Boys – you will ski 1 lap (2 kilometers) if you are a beginner and 2 laps (4k) if you are a veteran. Beginners if you feel like you want to ski two laps, talk to Gifford and he can switch that for you.

There will be no bus (other than the shuttle bus from the middle schools) for the meet, so high school athletes will need a ride to the meet. Please try to carpool as much as possible.

Everyone must get picked up at Elm Creek. We will be done around 5:00 or 5:15 at the very latest.
Everyone, should ski until 5:00 or 5:15. If you are in the early races, you can ski during the second race, but just stay out of the way of the racers. If you are in the second race, the same thing applies.
After the races, we want EVERYONE to stay on their skis and ski until 5:00 or 5:15 to maximize our time in snow. We need the time on snow and we are a little scared we won’t get a ton of snow time over break. So let’s make the most of this.
