Hey everyone, as we come into the final weeks of the season, I just want call out a few things.
1. Great job this week! It was great watching you all compete hard and do your best. It was fun to see your hard work pay off. You have all progressed so well this year and it is a joy to coach each and every one of you! Both varsity and JV athletes crushed this week. We had one of the most successful conference weeks that we have had in a long time! It is all because YOU all have put in the work and listened well all season.
2. Practices are all posted (a little has changed so be sure to look). Take a look at the schedule for more details.
3. There was a Fun meet added for monday 2/10 for anyone interested in skiing in a costume.
4. After the season, skiers can put some “storage” wax on their skis during open wax room time. We have those times posted in the schedule as well. It will only take about 10 minutes because you just put a coat of wax on, iron it, then don’t scrape it off so it protects your base after the off season.
5. The only meet we have this week is sections and that is at Theodore Wirth park. Details are posted in the Schedule. If skiers that are not competing in the race decide to come, you can, but your parents need to excuse from school and you have to find a way down to the park.
