Hey all, We just got word this afternoon (I didn’t see it until evening, sorry) that we have practice every day after school at 2:45. I never thought we would get practice on the first day that Elm is open, but here we are. There are always new surprises in this sport even after coaching for 19 years, but I am excited for the chance to ski with all of you. We need to take advantage when they give us chances like this, so lets get it going tomorrow. Here are a couple reminders:
1. High schoolers, I believe there have been carpools set up for people that need them, but that is up to the athletes to work out. I cannot help with that, other than pointing you in the direction for the chat.
2. Middle schoolers, check your shuttle bus numbers that I posted a couple weeks ago in the news section. I have been told the OMS bus is running great, but those of you that go to MGMS, you will want to check with the shuttle driver that is scheduled for Elm Creek to see if they are going to Elm. I will try to call to make sure the shuttle is running, but I have found I have very limited influence in these situations. You guys need to check with the drivers.
3. I know this adds a little extra chaos and we hope everyone can make it tomorrow, but we understand if that is not possible. We always recommend trying to get out skiing on your own if you cannot ski with us.
4. The wax room is still open after practice from 4:30-5:30. If you need to wax, you are responsible to find a ride there.
5. Please let me know what questions you have. I do not know when I haven’t covered everything. I always hope that I am though.
