Hey folks, we have some exciting weeks coming up. I am very excited for a fun week where we get to focus our attention on the varsity for a fun race at Hyland, then turn our attention to the JV team for a fun day at Elm Creek racing 5ks. You are all ready for some great racing this week! You have put in a long season of work and dedication and now we get to celebrate all that work for the next 3 weeks. Here are a few reminders as we get into the fun week of competition.
1. Conference meet – varsity folks need to reread all the details for tomorrow. there are a lot of moving parts. You need to have your uniform. You need to wear a legal hat, You need to be there an hour and a half before your race. You need to get your skis from coaches. You need to let us know if you are not able to race so we can replace you if needed. You need to make sure that you have enough food and drinks for the day and get some sleep tonight. And lastly, you need to be ready to have fun and enjoy the day tomorrow.
2. JV Conference – You get to choose if you skate or classic. Fill out the googleform in the schedule to let us know which you plan to do. Then you can just be ready for your race on wednesday. Make sure to get a good warm up in.
3. Tuesday team meetings – If you have missed the Tuesday meetings, I just posted all the slideshows for you to take a look at. I suggest reading the reflection (resolution) slideshow and the little things slide show. It would be awesome if you could discuss the reflection questions in each slide show with a teammate and your parents. We want to encourage you to apply the lessons that we can learn from Nordic to your school life and outside life. Parents please encourage your athletes to think about these items.

We love you guys and have truly enjoyed coaching all of you this season. We are really looking forward to skiing with you, coaching you, and just spending a couple more weeks with you. Please try to enjoy the next couple weeks. Enjoy spending time with one another and enjoy the fun experiences that only Nordic can provide.
